    General Questions

    • What are the names of the tv episodes? Look here since it's a pretty big list.

    • Are there more that 95 episodes to Kenshin?
There's only 95 tv episodes. 4 oav were produced back in 1999 and is available in most areas. They are a little "darker" in nature and the drawing style is different.

If you've seen all of rk, you'll notice that Tomoe is in the closing credits. Sony was planning on animating the jinchuu (revenge) arc. What happened was the animators caught up with Watsuki, the guy making the manga. They needed to fill in stories while Watsuki finished the manga so they made up stuff. The stories were not that great so the rating slipped and so did Sony's interest in funding the show.

    • Throughout the series, I notice the drawing styles of the anime change. Why does this happen?
Animation style varies among the numerous artists that draw RK. Also, in the beginning of the TV series, it wasn't known if RK would be successful so the drawing isn't as good as near the middle and end of the story.

    • Does Kenshin say "I love you" to Kaoru?
Japanese have not historically told the person they love that they love him/her. Rather, there is an unspoken understanding. They do not feel the need to tell the person directly. How you act towards a person is better than words. Kissing was also done privately and not out in the public.

    • What is the Jinchuu Arc?
It's the story that follows the Kyoto Arc (Shishio + the 10 Swords). Enishi wants revenge for his sister's death and gathers 5 others to help him. It's only found in the manga and Enishi makes a quick appearance in Seisô Hen.

    • What songs are played in the opening and closing credits?
      Opening Songs
      Sobakasu
      1/2
Kimi ni Fureru dake de (Just by Touching You)

      Ending Songs
      TACTICS
      Heart of Sword
      Fourth Avenue Cafe
It's Gonna Rain! by Bonnie Pink
      Namida wa Shitteiru (Tears Know)
1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou (1/3 of My Pure Emotions)
      DAME! (Stop! or No Way!)
