Shitajiki are also known as pencilboards or underlays. I started seriously collecting them in late of 2004 because they are cheaper than cels and easier to obtain. All are made of plastic unless noted otherwise.

Zero-sum has a more affordable loveless board that's not as in demand that I'm concentrating on getting now. Should run about 1500 yen.
